If i become a lawyer in Puerto Rico can i work in New York?
If i become a lawyer in Puerto Rico, can i work in other states such as New York? Thanks beforehand, Law & Ethics - 3 Answers

Even though Puerto Rico is technically part of the United States, and even though law firms will not specifically say no to this, it is much easier to go to graduate school for things like law or medicine in the 50 states if you're going to work in them than in the territories or in other countries

You have to pass the bar exam in New York in order to practice in New York.

Sure. You can even work in New York if you aren't a lawyer.
